Heart Health MOT is in essence a form of tracking done typically on an annual or biannual basis and I think it's absolutely the right thing for all of us and it's a broad-based snapshot of your cardiovascular health really with very simple assessments, things like a history, making sure you've got no symptoms that may suggest underlying cardiovascular disease and examination including taking your blood pressure, blood tests which will include our standard core panel focusing on your lipids, your blood glucose, kidney function, liver function as well as a 12-lead ECG. That's a standard heart health MOT and what this does is it ensures that everything is working well and we can start comparing MOT year on year and see whether perhaps your cholesterol is going in the wrong direction and that can at that point trigger more advanced or forensic assessment but it's something that I absolutely encourage for everyone including myself and my own family.
