Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy is diagnosed using a combination of tests. Typically, we assess a patient with suspected hypertrophic cardiomyopathy with an ECG, echocardiogram and cardiac MRI. In a select group of patients, we may move on and arrange genetic testing as well.
