So chest x-ray can be of value for people with heart symptoms, if that's breathlessness or chest pain, because it gives us a clue as to whether there are problems in the lungs, if there's any event of infection in the lungs or fluids in the lungs or perhaps even a collapsed lung. The chest x-ray will also show whether the heart is potentially enlarged, and that may prompt further imaging studies of the heart, such as echocardiography.
