The heart test you actually need will be decided after discussion with you at your initial consultation. There's no set single test that I recommend for a group of patients. I think we need to really come up with a bespoke series of tests, and that may just be one test.
It may be a scan and a combination with other blood tests. But the key thing is to make sure that those tests are optimised to give us a clear understanding of what underpins your symptoms and, importantly, whether those symptoms pose any risk to you.
