Blood pressure can easily be measured in the comfort of your own home by buying a blood pressure machine. This involves putting a cuff on your arm, pressing a button and allowing the machine to measure your blood pressure. Obviously these checks can be carried out in your GP surgery or with us in our clinic, but we tend to advise that your blood pressure is best checked at home, where reading should on average be less than 135/85.
