You can lose weight safely at around one to two pounds of fat loss per week. Losing weight safely, it's essential actually to measure your body composition, so your fat and muscle ratios. Lots of people will just look at the scales and think, "Am I losing weight?" Whereas in fact, as part of an active lifestyle, we'd be hoping that you'd be gaining a little bit of muscle whilst you're losing the fat.

So the body composition is really vital. Some weeks you may see the scale's numbers not changing, but you've gained a pound of muscle and lost a pound of fat.
